The single hydraulic prop is suitable for the inclined coal seam mining face with the coal seam inclination angle less than 25 degrees - 35 degrees. The conditions of the coal seam top and bottom plate are: the roof is backward and does not affect the recovery of the acrow prop, the bottom plate should not be too soft, and the acrow prop is not pressed into the bottom plate. Deteriorate the integrity of the base plate, otherwise the base should be enlarged. When used in a soft coal mining face, protective measures should be taken on the surface of the live cylinder to prevent collapse. When the acrow prop is used with the wooden top beam or used as a point column, the top cover should be replaced with a column cap to avoid damage to the wooden beam.
Single hydraulic prop is matched with the metal hinged top beam column and can be applied to any coal mining face with a coal seam inclination below 35°. According to the oil supply mode and the working medium, the acrow props are divided into two categories: external oil supply type (referred to as “external injection type”) and internal oil supply type (referred to as “internal injection type”); the acrow props can be divided into single expansion and contract according to the different working strokes of the acrow props. And double telescopic acrow props; depending on the material used for the acrow props, the acrow prop can be divided into steel pillars and light alloy pillars. Combined with actual use, it is divided into external injection type single hydraulic props, internal injection type single hydraulic props, and other types of acrow props.
