Before the hydraulic prop is installed, the one-way valve and the liquid injection nozzle should be cleaned with a liquid injection gun. After there is no coal dust, the liquid gun is inserted into the three-way valve, the connection is completed, and the liquid supply is started.

The steel acrow props should be perpendicular to the top plate. When there is an uphill angle, the uphill angle must be appropriate (usually 30-50), and the hydraulic prop must be firm to prevent the adjustable props from falling down. The top cover of the hydraulic prop and the top beam should be in contact with each other tightly and smoothly. When using a top cover, the four-corner claws of the pillar top cover should be clamped in the side grooves of the lace top beam to prevent the claws of the top cover against the top beam body or the top beam joints.

When raising the steel acrow props, first put the injection gun tube on the injection valve of the three-way valve, hang the locking sleeve of the injection muzzle, and then operate the injection gun handle. The high-pressure emulsion is supplied to the inner cavity of the pillar through a liquid injection gun, and the movable pillar rises rapidly until the pillar top cover contacts the metal roof beam and is close to the top plate of the working surface.

The hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic pump station should be stable to prevent the adjustable props unloading valve from overflowing when the liquid injection gun is removed.

After the injection of the single hydraulic prop is completed, the injection gun should be placed on the handle of the prop or on the injection nozzle of the prop. It cannot be placed on the bottom plate or dragged on the bottom plate to prevent coal dust pollution.

When moving poles in the mining face, there must be at least two people operating. One person puts the prepared monomer into the pillar socket dug against the large wall, and the middle roof is planted in advance. Both of the two monomer pillars use coal. The filling is firm, and another person discharges and unloads the monomer on the side of the old pond.

When adjustable props is unloading, first try to discharge the liquid to observe whether the top plate is stable. If the top plate is unstable and the phenomenon of ballast falling is more serious, the top plate must be backed. Only after it is stable, can the monomer be completely unloaded. Then move the ∏ beam to the new pole position steadily and quickly, and require that the groove of the ∏ beam and the top of the column completely coincide.

When returning to the steel acrow props, insert the unloading handle into the unloading hole of the right valve barrel of the three-way valve, turn the unloading handle, the emulsion in the column cavity is discharged through the gap between the unloading valve, the right valve barrel and the liquid injection, and sprayed on the working surface In the mined-out area, the movable column shrinks under the action of its own weight and the return spring, so as to achieve the purpose of returning the column.

Do not hit the working face with metal objects or hammers on each part of the hydraulic prop, especially the chrome plating layer, otherwise it will cause pits, the plating layer will peel off, and the performance of the pillar will be damaged or even scrapped.

When the adjustable props is not supported, the pillar cannot be placed horizontally as a pushing jack. Pay special attention to not using the support handle as the fulcrum of the pushing column jack, otherwise it will damage the pillar a lot.
