The working process is mainly divided into four stages: ascending column, initial bracing, bearing and returning hydraulic prop:

(1) In the hydraulic prop ascending stage, insert the injection gun into the three-purpose valve, and inject the working medium (including M10 emulsifier 1% to 2% emulsion) into the inner cavity of the column through the working pressure of the emulsion pump station (15-20 MPa). After the working medium fills the cavity, the movable post is forced to rise.

(2) In the initial support stage, when the movable post is raised H to support the working face tightly, pull out the injection gun. At this time, the working pressure of the inner cavity of the hydraulic prop is equal to the working pressure of the pump station, and the supporting force given by the pillar to the supporting working surface is called the setting force.

(3) During the load-bearing stage, with the extension of working time, the load on the single hydraulic prop top cover of the supporting working face increases continuously. When the load carried by the suspension hydraulic prop exceeds the rated working resistance, the safety valve in the three-way valve is opened, the liquid in the cavity overflows, the pressure in the cavity decreases, and the living column shrinks; when the load on the hydraulic prop is lower than the working resistance, The safety valve is closed, so that the pillar is rebalanced.

(4) In the hydraulic prop return stage, open the unloading valve in the three-purpose valve, and the working fluid in the column cavity will be discharged from the unloading valve to the goaf and will not be recovered. The movable column retracts under its own weight to accomplish the purpose of lowering the column. Just like that, the hydraulic prop move forward and work in cycles
